«Ramadan Table»: over 6,000 iftar meals across 20 nights

Over twenty nights of Ramadan we set up our «Ramadan Table» in Al Attarin, serving more than 6,000 hot iftar meals at a rate of about 300 each night. The table brought together workers far from home, travelers, and families in need around one warm meal.

A team of the organization's volunteers prepared and served the meals night after night — from cooking the food to setting the table and serving guests — in an atmosphere that preserved the dignity of everyone who sat down.
